For the 2026 edition, the partnership between Giornale della Libreria and Frankfurter Buchmesse continues. This year’s October issue, traditionally focused on the fair, is published in Italian with a four-page English supplement inside: here’s how to sign up for our annual subscription.

At the same time, for the fair’s international audience, we’ve created a special digital publication entirely in English. The first four pages, Italy of Books, a Tale in Figures, provide an overview of the key numbers and trends in Italian publishing today, summarizing our Rapporto sullo stato dell'editoria in Italia 2026. Following that, an interview with Juergen Boos marks his twenty-second and final Frankfurter Buchmesse as director. The publication closes with a selection of this year’s unmissable events at the fair, chosen directly by the Frankfurter Buchmesse team.
